So, last Saturday, doing laundry, and I heard some intentional noise coming from the Cooper Park vicinity. I ventured over to find drag-clad Ruffian Arms performing for kids and adults alike. I love Brooklyn.

Let’s not kid ourselves. It’s possible most people could love this face.

In recent life, I ventured to Toronto with two dear friends to experience Stephen Malkmus perform songs I listened to in college. Pavement shared the stage with hometown band Broken Social Scene and West Coasters, Band of Horses. Really great. Nostalgic. Kevin Drew acted like Jesus… I scored some nice shots, too. Check ‘em.

It’s been… months since the last post. What have I been doing? Watching the weather become nicer. New York is much more tolerable in the spring months. Summer is, at best, sweltering. I snapped these photos on the way to the train after work.

This is the first book in a series I designed for Three Rivers Press. It’s real. I’m so excited. The colors are pretty badass, the spot varnish looks spiffy… Is it coincidence that I love slab serif type and they used it on the inside of the book for the chapter titles? Only Jessie has the answers. Thanks, Jessie!
